Mountaineer Relaxed Jean styled by the FP Me community
comfy with comfy pockets
Love these pants. Mountaineer relax in person are greener/brown than the picture but still love the color. They fit perfect around the legs and length 5'4" came to ankle. Little loose around the waste and I'm thick which is why I said they run a little big. Roomy roomy pockets . perfect weekend pants.
BEST PANTS EVER!
I love these pants-great fit, love the style. Runs large. I am 5 foot 8, 130 lbs. I bought a slze 4 and they fit perfectly. I am buying in black and hope they get the plum in soon! Thanks FP!!!
- these are a great cut - feel great on with excellent freedom of movement - disappointed that the colours (marigold, fatigue & plum) are more muted overall compared to photos which have more modulation & richness - love the worn look but wish they didnt have holes as it reduces their longevity
almost true to size
I have very large thighs and a size 12 in other brands can be small. I ordered size 10 and 12. I cant really wear baggy pants due to my size (baggies tend to add weight) The 12 just skimmed my thighs but the upper part fit slightly big. I found the fatigue wash on the 12's a little too much (some browns/rust in the wash - not alot but you can see it up close). At first I wasnt crazy about either washes but its OK. I was never going to get the look of the model so I opted for the snug fit of the 10's and the fatigue wash had less brown/rust so I kept the 10's. They have stretch and im not sure if they will stretch out with wear. Im 5' 10" and i wish they had an extra inch in length. Overall I like them
I didn't realize that these were supposed to be a relaxed fit. I like my pants snug so snug I bought them. Be warned, they run large. For reference: I wear a 28 in FP jeans. Typically a size 6-8 depending on the pant or the company. In these pants I bought a 0 and I am wondering waiting to see if they will stretch.
Love these jeans!
I purchased these jeans in black at a FP store while on vacation in California. (Wish there was a FP store where I live in Tucson). Love these jeans so much that I ordered 2 more pair online when I got home (plum and fatigue). The colors are wonderful. I was so tired of blue jeans and it's nice to have other color options in a jean. I have larger, muscular thighs from horseback riding for over 40 years, and these have a little more room in that area which I like. As other reviewer's stated, they are rather large in the waist, but nothing a belt can't fix. Would be happier if they didn't have any polyester in them, but I can live with the 7% since the fit is so good. The length unrolled is perfect for my petite frame (5'2") and they look cute rolled as well. For reference, I purchased the size 28 and I am 135 pounds.
These pants are incredibly comfortable! They run large, I'd size down. I bought the wrong size for these pants but don't mind because they look good loose with a belt as well! I'd definitely buy a second pair in another colour.
Absolutely love these jeans!
I did not have the same experience as others with these being huge. I normally wear a 29 or 30 waist and either a size 8 or size 10. The 10's were too big but the 8's fit perfectly - just enough room to not lose that boyfriend jean look. I would say size down 1 size from your regular FP size not 2. I ordered these in the Plum and Marigold. I will get a lot of wear out of these bad boys! I just love them! As a side note, they did have these at my FP store so in black and fatigue if you have one close you might want to see if they have them in stock so you can try on prior to ordering online.
superoversized yet delicious
Got the orchid wash and am very happy. Sizewise these pants fall off me in size 0 w/o a belt (5'4, 95 lbs) so I wear them boyriend style low on the hip and belted .This wash is very beautiful. The fabric is medium weight.
