In a lightweight, gauzy fabrication, this vintage-inspired dress features a plunging V-neckline and beautiful floral embroidery. Drawstring waist and roll tab closures along the dolman sleeves for an easy, effortless fit. Unlined.
Who says comfy can't be cute. I got this dress in brown color and it's great for just lounging round town, running some light errands. It grabs around the waist and drapes over the rest of your body comfortably. The front V is pretty deep so I put on a cute lacy bra and tank top to cover the chest area so it's not too flashy. When it's warm I throw on my faux leather leggings or some cute thigh highs. But beware, this tunic is pretty short and the material I'd thin. So you might end up flashing someone, like I did. Finish off with some black mules or sandals.
First, this is a BEAUTIFUL item, but it is not a dress. At least not for my 5'10 self. I would say if you're over 5'8 do not get this unless you are looking for a top. Other than the fact it was wayyy too short, the dress is beautiful and I recommend it for someone shorter .
I love this dress but..
So I was thrilled when this dress arrived and it was even more beautiful on than it looked online! However... the first time I wore it, half way through the day I realised that all of the embroidery had started to unravel and I was covered in loads of loose threads, the dress was basically ruined and I have no I idea why, it can't have been a snag because it is the stitching all over the dress, I'm absolutely devastated because all I want to do is wear it but can't for fear of more threads coming loose or it looking ridiculous. All in all beautiful dress but a massive waste of money as I only got one wear out of it :(
Hi rougeallur3, We're sorry about your dress. Someone will be in touch! -Free People
Pretty Pinapple - Red
The color of this piece is amazing, however it fits more like a tunic than a dress. It's very cute with jeans. If you are busty, like me, you probably can't get away without wearing a cami underneath. I always get compliments on this top when I wear it out.
Love it, but...
I'm normally an xs, but sized up to a small so it would fit like the picture. I'm 5'7, and it's definitely too short for me to wear as dress, and there is elastic around the middle, as well as a drawstring, which I don't like. I may try to size up to a medium. It's pretty, but I'd go up two sizes if you want it to fit like the picture. Definitely not worth $150 in my opinion. Plus, I can't find a bra that looks good under it. Bummer.
IN LOVE !!!!
Im soo in love with this dress ! I tried it first when i was pregnant not a good idea but kept staring at it now my baby is 2 months so went to the store and the dress is still there had to tried it ! I tried the XS my usual size in Fp and its just perfect !!! I would use it for any ocassion even for the everyday :)
so cute on!
I passed this dress up while looking online not thinking it was for me, but tried it on in store and loved it! I'm 34 weeks pregnant and bought this in an XS in white to wear as a top for now and as a dress after I deliver. It is sooo adorable and can't wait to see what it looks like without my huge belly. I'm 5'3" for reference and the length would be fine as a dress now, but I scrunch it up a bit higher to accommodate my bump.
I loved this dress from the moment I saw it. After about a month of admiration I finally caved. It is even more beautiful in person and seems to be very versatile. I ordered the black in a size medium (my measurements are 39-29-39) and it fits well. Also, on the black the embroidery colors really pop in person. I am excited to pair this dress with some cute nude wedges and yellow earrings for a night out, or with a slip underneath and some flat sandals for daytime wear. A great buy!
