Set of three bracelets featuring semi-precious stones and fringe tassel detailing. Perfect for mixing and matching.
Lapis is nice, Labradorite is...
I ordered both the lapis and labradorite set. They both appear like in the photographs. Elastic threaded bracelets stretch to fit over your hand. Lapis: a great deep blue color in person. Nice. Labradorite: If you are familiar with labradorite, you should know that the 'shine' you see in the FP photo's is due to the spherical cut of the stone. This set has a natural finish. The labradorite is not polished so the labradorescence is not very pronounced. It's muted. Usually, labradorite is supposed to be highly polished to showcase its light reflecting effect. (If you have a rock tumbler for polishing stones: disassemble, polish them, then re-assemble the set.) If you have no idea what I'm talking about, wet them when you receive them and you'll see more of the color flash the stone is supposed to emanate. The FP labradorite, in person, reminds me of jade. If you can be at peace with the minimalism of schiller, this set is fine. The FP ones are a nice entry point set, if you've never had the pleasure of owning/seeing labradorite before. (FYI if you were to go to a bead store and buy a higher grade of labradorite beads, one bracelet would cost around $50.)
