Wanted to love these shoes, but...
Long time Free People customer, but this is my first review - let me start by saying, the shoe is beautiful; gorgeous color, and the leather is so soft & supple, so I really wanted to love these. But in my case, the tongue at the back of the shoe where you would lace it doesn't stay up well, leading to painful chafing; I tried lacing the shoes as tight is it will go to see if it would help, but even so, the tongue continued to slip down. It pains me to say this (literally), but sadly these will be getting returned.
spot on gorgeous!!!!!!!!!
Yeah!!!!!!!! I wanted these for sooooo long. They finally came in my size. Super sexy and very comfortable...no breaking in, just out of the box and true comfort. TTS and easy to get into. Mine are tan and a very pretty color.
Would give these more than five stars if I could
I never pay full price for shoes -- and am so glad I did for these. No wonder they sold out so quickly -- if they restock, run-do-not-walk to grab a pair. Lightweight & comfy out of the box -- you could walk all day without sore or tired feet. They feel like a generous medium width because of the open toe. The open styling and perforated leather keep your feet cool. Or choose socks -- looks good, too. Undoing the ankle tie allows you to to completely open the back of the shoe, making slipping them on a breeze --but do tie them snugly or they will become annoyingly loose. The taupe is an actual taupe -- they look almost grey in one light, almost brown in another -- gorgeous. (They are a little darker than the studio shots but lighter than the outdoor pic.) And while some FP clogs require sizing up, these are TTS. I have several pairs of FP clogs; these might be my favorite.
