When I got this bag I immediately loved it. It is very pretty and I've gotten numerous compliments on it. However, after 3 uses, it has already started to come apart. The seaming on the straps is coming unsewn and I'm afraid the strap is going to detach. It's very pretty, but for the price, I expect it to remain in tact for at least a dozen uses! And it hasn't.

I am disappointed...the suede is torn!
I try to keep in mind that reviews are a small portion of the buying public-so even if reviews are negative-I usually give FP the benefit of the doubt and see for myself instead of skipping an item based on the reviews. I suppose in this case I should have heeded fellow shoppers... The bag is as shown on the website but upon inspection the problems were immediately evident. Yes, the bag is quite imperfect in the way it is sewn. I really want to keep it-I like it as much as when I ordered it but the coins that are sewn to the ties are hanging on by a thread and the suede is tearing away from the top of the ties leaving them 'split' open at the ends of the ties. In order to keep this I will have to sew the coins on to keep them from tearing further. I get very upset at having to return brand new items that arrive damaged-especially at this price point. Sewing through swede by hand is very difficult so I'm not sure if I should even try it-I do love the color and style of the bag, though.

Love it put poor quality
I ordered this purse a few months ago, knowing that I'd want to start using it in the fall and didn't want it to sell out! Wish I would have started to use it right away because now I'm past my return date. Awful quality! Stitching is already coming undone, missing a couple of the details around the top of the bag! How could a $98 purse last less than a month without issues? Big Bummer!

After a short delay due to being put on back order my bag arrived. There was a lovely smell of leather as I opened the packaging and it really is beautiful. The only let down was the coins hanging from the front of the bag were nothing like the pretty shiny silver hammered coins shown in the product image. Mine were more like dull worn lead. I contacted Free People support and they did offer to send a replacement but by that time I had already stuck some of my own pretty coins on top of the horrid ones so couldn't really accept. If you get horrid coins make sure to contact support as you can get a replacement. Other than that I am delighted with this bag :-)
I bought this bag at the downtown Chicago store. It was beautiful and I fell in love as soon as I saw it. I brought it to school with me, and lo and behold after only two times of using it the main strap broke. I now have it tied together, which makes it just not as pretty. The coins have fallen off both sides as well. I was hesitant in purchasing this, because it was expensive! But it was also so beautiful. Now I wish I had never bought it. Beautiful or not, this bag was falling apart. And I tried to take really good care of it. I carried my laptop to class, and used it for my cellphone and pencil case. If that's too much weight, than this is just a horribly made bag. BAGS ARE FOR CARRYING THINGS. And I couldn't even carry the smallest of things in it without it falling apart. Extremely disappointing. I gave this two stars because of the craftsmanship and because it's basically garbage now..
