Luxe merino wool tunic features a dropwaist silhouette and an oversized, effortless fit. Ruffle detailing, high low hem and a dramatic cowl neck complete the look.
I loved this tunic the first few times I wore it last season. I felt so beautiful in it and received many compliments. I had it dry cleaned before wearing it this season. I was so excited until I removed it from the hangar. It was tiny, tiny, tiny. My tiny arms couldn't fit into the tiny sleeves, and the front hem of the tunic barely covered my midsection. It would've been humorous, had this doll clothing not cost a small fortune.
Glad everyone else had a good experience
The fabric on this is amazing! But the size is absolutely HUGE! I ordered a small, my normal size as I like things roomy, and ordered my mother a large (usually a medium but none at that time). She could fit our whole family in this dress and for me, it added so much unnecessary size. I'm interested how these models look so good yet this dress is far from that look. Sorry to be negative but for the price of this dress and the other comments I read, I really thought it was a home run.
I am quite above 45 YO and most FP is inappropriate for me. However, I love some sweaters and tunics. I wear this as a tunic with booties and leggings and get many compliments. It is unstructured and not for someone short.
I wanted to love this dress. It was a splurge for me. The fabric was luscious but a itchy on me. Ordered the oatmeal--gorgeous! This dress was simply too voluminous on me. I felt like I was wearing a burlap sack. Did not flatter my figure. Waaaaaay too much material. Some of the photos show this; some do not so I took a chance. I have long legs and found that the front was way too short for me to wear to work. Wish it had worked.
worth the money!
Got it in the mail today, tried it on, and didn't want to take it off!! I'm 5'5 and 155 lbs,and it's SO flattering. Looks amazing with over the knee boots. Shows a little bit of leg, but not too much to be scared to wear as a dress. Must buy for fall!
Made for BOOTS
Exactly what I wanted... can dress it up or down- great for cold CANADIAN WINTERS... hides the bra-strap rolls and is loose enough (size 14 - 16 typically) to fit great, but designed to still be somewhat flattering... a really cool design... I LOVE IT
Loved it so much, I bought both colors. The pink is the prettier one. It's a beautiful very light blush color... much better in person than the white tone on the model. I have the pink in S and the black in XS (I'm usually S in FP dresses, 5'0 32C-26-42). Both fit without much noticeable difference, but I prefer the S because the sleeves are a bit tight on the XS. Perfect oversized fit. I'm high waisted with big hips, so I wasn't sure the drop waist would work, but the fit is the best thing about this dress... it falls beautifully and the proportions look incredibly elegant. Exactly like the model photos. It's longer on me, of course (the front hits a couple inches above the kneww, back hits mid-calf). Looks amazing with tonal high heels. The material is a gorgeous thick wool that is comfy and not at all itchy, feels like butter. It is magically slimming. Not the most practical dress because it's too warm to wear indoors for a prolonged period... I'm still eagerly awaiting the right occasion. :)
Absolutely adore this stunning dress. It's really warm and cozy and flattering. I wear a M in Free People and this fit perfect. The sleeves are snug and the dress very loose. Everyone asks me where I got this whenever I wear it. The seams did start to come apart on the first wear but I just sewed them back up, that won't deter me from this beautiful dress!!! It does have a hint of pink in it which I love!
This might be the best top I own. Its so comfy and I get ENDLESS compliments on it whenever I wear it. I would LOVE if FP made even more colors. Having this in a deep red color would be a dream. The fit on this is perfect. I'm normally a L in most FP and this fits perfectly. The arms and top are a bit more fitted and the body has lots of room. I wear this with leggings and boots, but could easily wear this without leggings as shown on the model. I love it!
Very Interesting Piece
I bought this tunic in the "cream" but it was actually a very soft pink, much to my surprise. Fortunately, I love pink. The material is interesting. The material in the pic looks like it's similar to a fleece but it almost feels like a felt type of material. I received so many compliments on this dress. The only thing I would have like to have know before purchasing it is that the front is in fact pretty short if you are over 5'5". So to remedy that, in order to wear it to work, I paired it with the blush tutu skirt so I have a peak of tulle in the front which adds a whole new texture and dimension. I do recommend this dress, just things to know before hand :)
