A sleeveless twist on an FP fave, this printed crinkly crepe tunic features a swingy silhouette, keyhole cutout at the neckline, and hip pockets.
Just got back from a trip to the Nicoya Peninsula of Costa Rica where it was swelteringly hot and humid. This tunic and an older FP open-back apron dress ended up being my go-to items for their breeziness and style. And now, back in 30-degree weather, I can layer this and wear with leggings. A surprisingly versatile piece.
Pretty Little Tunic
I have this tunic in three colors now, though I can't remember their official color names. I have in the white-ish, black, and a light blue. It's beautiful. The cut is sweet and flattering. The neckline is awesome. It's something people always comment on. Sometimes I wear it buttoned, which usually gets the most compliments, but if you're wearing something over it, unbuttoned looks cute too! For me, the only down side is the length. I'm only 5'7" and I ordered these in L so they'd be plenty long. But they're not. They're def longer than they need to be for jeans but not quite long enough to look right with leggings. And perhaps my large backside has something to do with that but I wish they had been just 2-3 inches longer like some of my other FP tunics. That being said, I wear these often. And I love them. They're so much more beautiful in person!
Great for layering!
This is a great piece for the winter season. Throw on some leggings and an oversized sweater and it looks great! Washed and dried the tunic with no shrinking issues. The back is much longer than the front which is harder to see in the photos but a great piece regardless! I am 5'3'', 125 lbs and ordered a medium. The front is a tad bit too short to wear as a dress.
Perfect flowing tunic
I'm so happy I was able to order this tunic after waiting for a restock of my size in the rust color. I'm 5'1" and got an xs; it's nice and flowy, the front falls just about too short for me to wear as a dress, but since this is listed as a tunic I would say it fits true to size. I ordered the high waist scrunch skirt to use as a layering piece underneath and I think it works perfectly!
I walked into the FP store with the intention of buying something else but got this instead! I bought the black one in a size small. On me it really is a tunic and not a dress (I'm 6' tall 34B-26.5-36). I love the flowy loose fit. It looks great with leggings and boots or even the jeans I was wearing when I tried it on. I would definitely wear a cami underneath as the slit in front is low and the armholes are a bit low-cut. This one's definitely a must-have!
Short But Pretty
I recently ordered this tunic in the rust color. I am normally a size XS across the board, but wanted this to fit as a dress so I ordered a medium. I am 5'5" 120 lbs and the medium is barely dress length on me. It will be super cute half-tucked into shorts/pants, and with over the knee boots or tights. Definitely worth it, but size up if you're hoping tower it as a dress and you aren't super short!
I Wish I Had, I Wish I Had…..
I looked at this dress in the tea color, and naturally I loved it and too many other things. It is so flowy and beautiful .he bottom of the dress has this amazing flow to it. I only passed because on this and chose other pieces because the front was cut way too low for wearing it to work and the sleeve or arm holes also were very low cut revealing to much. You could always add a cami. The pattern and the material are as amazing as it appears. I am 5'5" and the length hit me about three inches longer then it appears on the model. I had a birthday discount with me over the weekend and I bought quite a few things, I now wish I had added this piece bc now that it is too late I thought how I could have added one of FP's lovely thermals underneath for fall. I recommend this beautiful piece.
This dress is cute with booties, leggings, with a jacket, without a jacket. It also looks good half-tucked into shorts. The color of the "tea combo" is more of a slight pink...think of washed mauve. If you want to go for a more tunic blouse look, go for a size smaller than you would normally wear, and your true size if you want to wear it as a dress (my true size is large but at first I ordered a medium and that was basically a longer blouse)
