So soft and comfy pullover featuring snap button closures along one sleeves and unfinished edges for a lived-in look.
I love this sweatshirt. I got an XS and it fits perfectly. It's meant to be baggy and that's just the way it is without being too big. The only thing that is a little questionable about it is that it has little balls on it. It came like that, so I assume that that was purposeful on FP's part.
Despite also having the pulls that have been noted in other reviews, I love this top. The snaps allow it to be a versatile sweater, it's just the right amount of oversized and It's moderately light so it's perfect for just about any season. I usually wear a large, but I got this in a medium and it's perfect. Totally want it in every color.
Id like another
I was hesitant with all the pilling/pulls comments but I was not disappointed with my purchase. The fit is BIG but not bulky. The fabric is soft and has movement. There is minimal pulling. I ordered the Wisteria and its hardly noticible and I think it adds a little character. I'm 5'7" and this hits at my hips. I could live in this shirt and plan on purchasing another color. I like that the sleeves are roomy. Its not real heavy. Flowinf, soft and can be worn with so many different options. I ordered my usual size L and probably could also fit into a small but I like it because it is so big. I love this shirt!!!
I order from free people all the time and unfortunately this is my first disappointment :( ordered this because it looked super cute and the reviews overall were pretty good, but when I received it in the mail it looked like it had already been worn about 10 times because it was that pilled. While it did look cute on its just not worth the money. Can easily find an alternative with better quality for less. Sorry free people, just didn't sell me on this one!
Almost 5 stars
Bought two of these - yellow and orange. Bit and boxy - looks great with just about any trim fitting pant or skirt. It's super comfy and warm. I really LOVE the snaps. You can keep 'em closed, give yourself one cold shoulder, or just leave the first snap open to reveal a top or shoulder underneath! There are just a few improvements I'd recommend. First, the fabric pills. I've washed mine twice and the front is all pills. I am going to shave those off. The french terry on the reverse side is in decent shape. Also, what's hard to see from the photos is that the fabric around the cuffs and neck is intentionally weathered. You can see this but it is more severe up close.... it almost looks damaged. My husband jokes that I'm wearing my "scrap ware" again with some Free People stuff - but I like it. While the weathering is intentional, it went a bit far for me on this garment. However, I still love the sweatshirt and plan to buy the black one anyway!
I got the blue in size medium. Great color, shape, style but the weave is a little strange. It looks like it has these little pulls/pulls on it. All over. Not sure if it's a defect in this particular one, just in the blue, or if they all have this feature in the material. It's a fantastic color- just as in photos, and cozy but not overly warm. Gonna bring it back and see if it's just a defective one I got. I'm afraid that the little nubs will pull and leave snags all over it .
Love this top!
Love this sweatshirt so much. It's so comfy and has a great oversized fit. Definitely order your true size. I usually size up to achieve the oversized, loose fit, but this already has that. 5'11" and bought a small. My only concern is washing the sweatshirt. It has a raw edge and I'm nervous it is going to start to fray a ton.
So cozy and fresh
I love this top. The color is gorgeous (I bought blue), and is cozy and oversized. I really like the option to restyle with the snaps, for a more casual look, and I think it would look darling over a button down.
