Speckle knitted tall sock with a scrunchy, slouchy fit.
speckled slouch tall sock; ivory
Really cute socks for making outfits interesting and adding extra warmth in the fall/winter. They're just so cozy feeling and looking. Definitely slouchy like the title says, but really cute that way.
Petite and I still wear them!
Shorty girl here..and they slouch perfectly! Skinny jeans, tights, bare legs...so diverse. I've only had them a few weeks, so i can't say much for durability yet. But a nice light gray color...
So dissapointed :(
This was my first order from FP Site. I wanted these socks so long and the rust color was just perfect. So i ordered it for about a 1,5 week and was so in love with this sock and the color until i wore it today for the first time. I was for a walk for about 2 hours with my little daughter (no walking hardcore in mountains or so, she ist 2,5 y.o., just slow walkig in the park). Made some wonderful pics of rust color to share here. Was just happy... When i got home and saw a hole! in one sock. Im sorry, my english is really poor to explain it in the right way what kind of hole it is. Just a hole in the knit. I attach a pic here. During the walk i thought to take an ivory color as soon as im home. But now im not sure about this socks. Im in Germany and the shipping will cost alot... plus custom. Very dissapointig all this...
Hi IndigoInside, We're sorry to hear about your socks. Someone from our team will be in touch soon. - Free People
I bought the grey and ivory. They are both warmer colours in person. They fit me perfectly as over the knee socks but I am only 160cm tall and petite; so if you are tall they will not fit as in the photos. They are soft and comfy but be prepared for them to slouch.
Rust? Um, no.
These are soft, lovely tall socks--if not a tad overpriced. They're well made and clearly from the reviews, they're solidly beloved. Unfortunately this is my 2nd recent FP purchase in a row where the color description and online image do not remotely match the actual item received. I ordered in "rust" but received good old fashioned light colored "burnt orange" socks. Online they skewed a deep, autumnal orange shade with a brownish red--dare I say RUST--tint. But if you're familiar with the particular burnt orange color featured by the University of Texas, these are pretty much just that. Not too attractive to *me* but not sure I wanna hassle with the return. Should have color swatched them locally first. My bad. For fit, materials, and construction: 4 stars. For the funky hue of orange: no stars!
Great, versatile socks
I ordered the cream color and they go with everything. They have definitely become my go-to sock when I wear my boots and then in the spring they will be great with a dress too. I can't forget to add the fact that they are so soft and comfortable.
Not really what I expected
These are great socks. The thing I'm having trouble with is the price, these are expensive for socks and I have to say I was expecting something more substantial in terms of material, they are very thin. They are nice enough but for twenty bucks? I'm just confused as to why everything has to be so expensive on this site... I could maybe understand if they were made out of merino wool or something but they are completely man made...
All 3 colors = awesome
I bought grey and white late 2013 and recently got the light grey since i love the other 2, these are super comfortable when worn alone just lounging or with sandals and boots. they can feel a little slippery though when worn alone inside looser/wider shoes. The white ones are tighter at the tops than both grey colors, but loosen up after a couple wears and washes.
