love at first but downhill it goes
I'm a shorty at 5'2 and the dress felt like it would be too short up front. The back is longer so it is fine. What brought it from a 4 to a 2 is the fact that it wrinkles like no tomorrow. The dress has a lot of material to it so when you sit, somewhere on the dress, it will be wrinkle once you stand up. The other thing is that if you have thick legs, this is not the most flattering thing on.
I wear this (in the rust) all the time. It's incredibly versatile and at my height tunics don't always work as dresses but this one is a good length. I had to order a size up (L) in order to get the length right, but there wasn't too much fabric width wise at all .
My husband pointed this out at Free People and I loved it the second I put it on. I wear it with a navy slip underneath or with a tank or bralette over jeans. I will say that my mom is a size 12/14 and I'm a size 4-6 and we both fit into the XS with room to spare (not at the same time obviously haha) It drapes beautifully. It does have pockets which is odd because putting anything heavier than a key in a top like this makes it pull. I bought the white and the navy and purple flowers are beautiful. Pricy, but my husband bought it for my birthday anyway.
so many compliments!!
I have the long sleeve version of this and I've been wanting to get the sleeveless one for a while! I wore it for the first time today and got so many compliments. In fact, a customer saw that I was wearing it, asked where it was from, and proceeded to buy two not one TWO (I work at Urban a neighboring store)!! Anyways I love this with a slip underneath and booties and I'm looking forward to wearing it this fall with skinnies (:
