Super easy skort romper featuring embroidery detailing throughout. V-neckline with low open back features crisscross straps. Hip pockets and a hidden back zip. Skort is lined.
I am 6'1,145 lbs typically a small in Free People and I ordered a size 6 in the black because of my long torso--rompers are typically a gamble for me because of that, but I do have one FP romper that fits well. Unfortunately the the 6 didn't look that great on, and it wasn't worth it to keep for the price. I probably should have tried an 8 but I didn't want to go through the ordering process again.
I bought the black combo in a size 8. FYI I am usually a size 4-6 or medium in FP clothes, but I went a size up for length. IT WORKED!!! I am 5 ft 5 inches tall an the romper is still on the shorter side, but still looks appropriate. Fortunately, there is a faux skirt that lies over the front of the romper , as pictured which helps alot. Also, the straps are adjustable!!! A major bonus in my opinion, which you can button the ends at your waist in the back to three levels. The romper is meant be worn pulled up and back over your shoulders so the neckline really ends up being more conservative. Its not sheer, though I will pair this with biker shorts and the strapless FP Essential Lace Bandeau bra in black for a classy look! The detailed embroidery is true to the photo! So pretty its a sturdy cream color, though not quite as gold as the photo shows. The pockets are great and the fabric is light and breathable, perfect for spring or summer in Florida!
