Once your order has shipped, your form of payment will be charged. If your order is cancelled for any reason, the authorization will automatically be removed in 5-7 business days. The exact timeframe for removal is determined by you card's issuing bank. We only take orders for items that we have stock of, however items may be cancelled after the order is placed for various reasons.

Accepted Pay Methods
We accept orders with Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover, Maestro, Visa Electron, JCB, Union Pay, Diners Club International, PayPal, Afterpay, Klarna and Free People Gift Cards issued in USD.

Issues with Pay Methods
If your credit card was declined, your information was entered incorrectly or there are issues with the card. Please try a new payment method and contact your financial institution for more information regarding the decline.

We occasionally have merchandise for sale that has not yet been received at our warehouse, or that has sold out and is being restocked. You can order these items to reserve your favorite color or size. We'll ship it to you when supplies are replenished. The expected ship date for backordered merchandise is listed on the product page and in your Shopping Bag during checkout. We will contact you via email if the item's replenishment date changes or the item cannot be fulfilled for any reason. Backordered items cannot be expedited and will ship with Standard Shipping once they arrive at our warehouse. You'll receive a Shipping Confirmation email with tracking as soon as it's on the way.

Should an item from the website or catalog be marked down, please contact us within 14 days from the date of shipment. We will honor a one time price adjustment. Credits will be applied to the original form of payment and will be reflected in 2-4 business days. If you paid with a gift card, a new gift card will be issued for the amount of the credit. Please contact us to request a price adjustment.

We are unable to process price adjustments for merchandise purchased at our Free People store locations or independent boutiques and department stores. Please contact the store directly for assistance.

Please note, we are unable to offer price adjustments for temporary promotions or discounts. Promotions or discounts cannot be applied retroactively to orders placed before the promotion discount was activated.

We are required to collect sales tax in all states as required. Additionally, we are also required to collect tax in Puerto Rico and Australia.

Some products such as phone accessories, electrical cords, upholstered items, sunglasses, and vegan/faux leather will expose you to substances identified within the California Prop 65 list of chemicals. Exposure to these chemicals like lead/and or other substances are known in the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, and other reproductive harm.

Effective July 1, 2022, Colorado imposes a retail delivery fee on all deliveries by motor vehicle to a location in Colorado with at least one item of tangible personal property subject to state sales or use tax.The retailer or marketplace facilitator that collects the sales or use tax on the tangible personal property sold and delivered, including delivery by a third party, is liable to collect and remit the retail delivery fee. Deliveries include when any taxable goods are mailed, shipped, or otherwise delivered by motor vehicle to a purchaser in Colorado.
